"The Bird" is one of those images that wasn't planned.  I didn't spend lots of time finding the best composition or light.  In fact it wasn't even the shot I was aiming for, but a small detail within the frame that caught my eye when I was editing the image.

When I saw It I was drawn to its impressionistic feel which reminds me of a charcoal drawing.  

The seagull is perching on the derelict hull of a boat sinking into the mud at Bowling harbour in West Dunbartonshire, Scotland.

All of my prints are made using the highest quality materials.  

"The Bird" is printed using Lucia Pro pigment inks and Hahnemühle Photo rag 308gsm fine art paper, allowing beautiful tonal reproduction and having museum quality archival properties.

Only 25 prints in each limited edition will be made.  Each will be signed and numbered, and comes with a certificate of authenticity.
