Loch Chon is a beautiful loch in The Trossachs. Not too far from home, it's one of those places I can easily travel to late in the day in the hope of maybe catching some nice evening light.
On this day the light didn't really live up to its early promise in terms of a colourful sunset. What I did get though was some lovely soft lighting after a rain shower. I complemented this with the Lensbaby Velvet 85 lens for its soft focus effect towards the edges of the frame.
I'm very happy with the calm and dreamy feeling of the resulting image.
All of my prints are made using the highest quality materials.
Boathouse on Loch Chon is printed using Lucia Pro pigment inks and Hahnemühle Photo rag 308gsm fine art paper, allowing beautiful tonal reproduction and having museum quality archival properties.
Only 25 prints in each limited edition will be made. Each will be signed and numbered, and comes with a certificate of authenticity.
